wow I think the last time I was playing records from the Chicago house label Large was 20+ years ago! I specifically remember it was, Roy Davis jr - Gabriel. It's a great track but for some reason after thatI faded away from the label. Now all these years later and based on how bangin this cut I randomly came across is, I think it's time I went digging through the Large back catalog... have a listen 👇

On Defected Records 3rd installment of their "House Masters Remixes" series, they revisit the legendary New Jersey born House & Garage pioneer Todd Edwards' heavily revered catalogue. Modern day UK Garage producer DJ Q (of TDQ) demonstrates his solid skill & style on Todd Edwards - "Never Far From You" (DJ Q Extended Remix). I recently learned of this era DJ Q from Huddersfild, England, and that he is not the same 1990's Deep House pioneer OG DJ Q from Glasgow, Scotland we all know and love, LOL.
